Business Networking - Sharing Professional Knowledge
Overview
The ability to establish and grow business networks is a critical skill of the modern manager. This program will teach participants how to identify networking opportunities, how to participate in networks and how to present information. This program also explores negotiating solutions and evaluating strategies.
Designed For
This program is designed for sales people, client service personnel, new managers, human resource managers and other individuals who have face-to-face dealings in promoting and developing working relationships and negotiating solutions with other organisations or individuals.
Content
- Use network strategies to establish and maintain business relationships
- Identify and pursue network opportunities to maximise a range of business contacts
- Communicate information regarding new networks to inform individuals and colleagues of potential benefits to the organisation
- Develop and maintain business relationships to promote benefits consistent with organisational requirements
- Use negotiation skills to encourage positive outcomes
- Identify difficult situations and negotiate solutions using collaborative problem solving techniques
- Develop strategies to represent and promote the organisation's interests and requirements
- Use presentation skills to communicate goals and objectives
- Identify and develop ways to improve promotional activities within available opportunities through feedback
